It is a beautiful place which I plan to visit on my next trip to Sonoma. This place is more hip than the other wineries but I think it works well for people of any age who really enjoy nature and really good wines. All the wines we tasted were very good- so you probably end up buying some to take home or have them ship it. Later on they will bring a small snack to accompany your wines. You'll be seated at a casual picnic table and given a snack tray to nibble on throughout the tasting. It's a very small winery up on a hill that has amazing views of the valley. We heard of this hipster-like winery through the grapevine and decided to make an appt. Rombauer Vineyards, Chardonnay, Carneros, California, 2021. Tables have bowls with nuts if you choose to use it. Scribe was the most unique tasting experience our family group had in Napa/Sonoma. Your experience will take place outdoors- the person assigned to your table will sit casually with your group and explain the wine and answer any questions- shortly after that you are left to enjoy your wine and the beautiful scenery. Set up on top of a hill which looks onto the vineyards below and valley in the distance. They only do tastings by appointment, are $25 pp and last 1.5 hours. Rombauer Vineyards is a Napa Valley-based, family-owned winery founded in 1980 by Koerner and Joan Rombauer. So here is what you need to know before you go- As the producer of one of the most famous Chardonnay wines in the U.S., it was only a matter of time before Rombauer Vineyards in Napa Valley was expected to offer its red Burgundian. They have taken the rushed wine tasting to create a personable and more relaxed experience that incorporates nature as part of the experience. Scribe has created a new way of experiencing wine.
